Avshalom Kalichstein is the Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of Hunter Point Capital, bringing over twenty-five years of experience as a premier investor and business-builder within the financial services sector. Throughout his distinguished career, Mr. Kalichstein has been at the forefront of the alternative investment management industry, having been engaged in more than $9 billion of principal transactions.

Prior to founding Hunter Point Capital, Mr. Kalichstein served as a Managing Principal at Easterly LLC, where he focused on the strategic growth of investment management businesses. His track record of innovation includes launching Solel Investment Group, an entity that successfully created joint ventures to invest over $1 billion in diverse credit opportunities.

His foundational leadership experience was further honed during his tenure as a Managing Director at J.C. Flowers & Co., where he helped transform the firm into a pre-eminent private equity powerhouse with over $10 billion in assets under management. Earlier in his career, he served as the Head of Corporate Development at Shinsei Bank in Japan after beginning his professional journey in the financial institutions group at Goldman Sachs & Co. Mr. Kalichstein earned his B.A. in Mathematics and Economics, magna cum laude, from Brown University.
