DSI partners closely with several companies, non-profits, and government organizations connecting them with the Brown University DSI ecosystem, and providing them with a path to engage with faculty, students, and researchers. In turn, working with external collaborators provides DSI with vital opportunities to push the frontiers of data science research while addressing real-time, immediate needs from the private sector.
Industry partners have previously engaged with DSI in the following ways:
- Work with our Master’s students on an Industry Capstone Project
- Give a talk in our Industry Talks Series
- Join our Corporate Council of industry experts
- Host an undergraduate data fluency intern for an experiential learning project
- Engage with Rhode Island Innovation Ventures
- Sponsor a datathon or conference
- Share open positions with our students or host recruitment events
