DSI hosts first Women in Data Science (WiDS) Providence Conference

On Friday October 18, DSI hosted Brown's first Women in Data Science (WiDS) Providence Conference, organized by DSI students and postdocs and featuring experts from data science industry and academia.

DSI's October 2024 Women in Data Science (WiDS) Providence Conference drew over 100 Brown students and community members over the course of the day. The event brought attendees together through industry and topical panels, research seminars, and a networking lunch. 

Thank you to all of our speakers and guests who attended this day-long conference at the Robert Petteruti Lounge in the Robert Campus Center. DSI looks forward to organizing more WiDS events in the future!
