Industry Capstone Projects
DSI closely partners with several companies, non-profits, and government organizations connecting them with the Brown University DSI ecosystem, and providing them with a path to engage with faculty, students, and researchers. Working with external collaborators provides DSI with vital opportunities to push the frontiers of data science research while addressing real-time, immediate needs from the private sector.
By developing connections to the breadth and depth of data science at Brown, industry partners can develop a mutually beneficial relationship where collaboration drives new insights while supporting the next generation of data science talent. Specifically, industry partners can engage with Brown students and work on business outcomes while being exposed to the most recent research, which can generate new ways of organizing thinking, understanding methodologies, and prioritizing approaches.
