Biography
DSI is excited to be supporting Dhananjay Tiwary, PhD, a Senior Fellow at the School of Public Health, during the 2024-2025 year.
Dr Tiwary previously served as the Science Counsellor at the Embassy of India in Washington, DC and was most recently an advisor and scientist in the Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science & Technology in the Government of India where he headed the Global Innovation Directorate. He is currently on academic leave from this post to collaborate on global health policy research at Brown. Dr. Tiwary is particularly interested in health technology innovation policy that ensures health care measures are affordable, equitable and accessible, and in addressing emerging biosecurity concerns.
