Biography

Dafne is a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Data Science Initiative (DSI) at Brown University, working with Roberta De Vito. Her research is primarily in the area of methodological statistics, with a particular interest in Bayesian nonparametric and causal inference, with an interest in real-world data applications such as environmental epidemiology and public health.

Previously, she received her PhD in statistics from the University of Padova (Italy) and attended the Department of Biostatistics at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health for almost two years as a visiting scholar with Francesca Dominici.

She got a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in statistics from the University of Padova.
